Day 1

Nairobi - Salt Lick Safari Lodge

Our safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi via the SGR train. Sit back and enjoy the picturesque landscapes as you travel through the Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival at Voi Station, a pre-arranged transfer will take you to Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Along the way, you may catch glimpses of wildlife and stunning views of the Taita Hills. After checking in at the lodge, relax and have lunch while taking in the panoramic views.

In the evening, set out on your first game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. With luck, you'll encounter elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and other fascinating creatures. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening, watching the wildlife activity from the observation deck or your room.

Day 2

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to observe wildlife in action. As the sun rises, the landscape comes to life with the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Afterward, enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge.

During the day, explore more of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Take a guided nature walk or a bird-watching tour to learn about the local flora and fauna. You can also visit the Taita Hills Cultural Museum to understand the area's history and conservation efforts.

In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely lunch and some relaxation at the lodge. Take a dip in the swimming pool, read a book, or simply watch the wildlife from the comfort of the lodge. In the evening, embark on another game drive to explore different parts of the sanctuary or revisit spots with promising wildlife activity. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Board the SGR train back to Nairobi in the afternoon, bringing your safari adventure to a close. As you travel back, reflect on the unforgettable experiences and wildlife sightings you've had over the past few days. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you'll be transferred to your next destination.
