Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park

You will depart Nairobi in the morning, preferably around 8:00 a.m., to make the most of the day in Tsavo West National Park. Arriving in time for lunch, you'll embark on an afternoon tour. Tsavo West is renowned for attractions such as the famous Mzima Springs, where 227.3 million liters of crystal-clear water flow out of the ground through porous volcanic rocks. The water is believed to originate from Chyulu Hills via an underground river. Here, you will also encounter the vast red-dust elephants, among other species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour with a picnic lunch. Highlights include Roaring Rocks, named for the sound of lions roaring in the area, and Poacher's Lookout, offering beautiful views over Tsavo. Visit the Chaimu Crater Viewpoint, a young volcano composed of black coke, and Lake Jipe in the southwest corner of the park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park

Following breakfast, you'll have an early morning tour before driving to Amboseli National Park. After checking in and having lunch, you will go on an afternoon tour. Amboseli features a dry lake bed, fragile grasslands, acacia woodlands, and several small volcanic hills. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

You will rise early for views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli is the best area in Africa to experience elephants up close. We can arrange an optional visit to a Maasai village. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

In the early morning, you will drive to Lake Naivasha, the highest and most beautiful Rift Valley lake. Located at 1910m (6200ft), the water is fresh and fringed with dense clumps of papyrus. Lake Naivasha is famous for bird watching and as a weekend retreat for Nairobi residents. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.

We can arrange an optional visit to a Maasai village or a hot air balloon ride at an extra cost. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite or lodge.
