4-Day Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari - Mid Range

On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, is Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. On the next day, you'll transfer to Masai Mara in the Southwest of Kenya which is famous for the abundance of lions, and the Great Wildebeest Migration, where over 1 million wildebeests and zebras follow an annual migration route.

Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

After leaving Nairobi, you'll take a picturesque journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to millions of flamingos that tint the lake's pink shoreline. It will be lunchtime when you get to the lodge. You will take a wildlife drive in this stunning park in the evening, which is home to Kenya's first rhino sanctuary—home to endangered black rhinos. You will have dinner at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge and spend the night there.

Day 2

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will go to the Masai Mara Game Reserve—the home of enormous migratory herds—after breakfast. You're going to be here for lunch. You'll go on a game drive in the afternoon to see the Mara up close. You will spend the night and eat again at the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve

To fully appreciate the Mara's vastness, you will head out on wildlife drives in the morning and the evening. See the enormous concentrations of plains game in this land of spectacular panoramas, together with the predators that live there: buffalo, black rhino, hippo, lions, cheetahs, leopards, Coke's hartebeests, white-bearded gnu, oribi, warthogs, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles. The Maasai cultural village excursion is optional for you. You will have the opportunity to engage with the Maasai, gain insight into their culture and distinctive way of life, and observe some of their customs and practices during this hour-long tour to a Maasai hamlet. The Masai Mara Sopa Lodge will host the overnight stay as well as all meals.

Day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After a leisure breakfast, you will return to Nairobi for drop-off.
