3-Day Maasai Mara Lap of Luxury Safari

Experience the best of Maasai Mara's wildlife, culture, and climate while enjoying the comfort of luxury lodges within the reserve. This tour includes several game drives and optional activities such as visiting a Maasai Village and embarking on a hot air balloon safari.

Arrival

You will be picked up from the airport. Pre-tour accommodation can be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Meet at your city hotel at 8:00 am and transfer to Wilson Airport for a 10:00 am flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Kichwa Tembo Airstrip at 11:00 am, where your driver will be waiting. Enjoy a mid-morning game drive en route to the camp, ideal for early morning wildlife sightings. After lunch at the camp, embark on an afternoon game drive until sunset, where you can spot elephants, buffalo, lions, and various bird species. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve Exploration

Start with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive, visiting the scenic hippo pool and the Mara River. If you're lucky, witness the wildebeest crossing at popular points (July to October). The riverbanks and marsh areas are prime spots for spotting big cats. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive until evening. Optional activities include a cultural visit to a Maasai village ($30 per person) and a hot air balloon ride ($450 per person). Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, check out and proceed for a short morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed. Transfer to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip for the 11:00 am flight back to Nairobi, arriving at 12:15 pm. You will be met by a driver for transfer to your city hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight.
