2-Day Maasai Mara & Lake Naivasha Private Safari

Enjoy a remarkable 2-day safari in the Masai Mara, where you'll search for the Big Five and appreciate the stunning landscape. On the second day, after a morning game drive, you'll head to Lake Naivasha for lunch, a boat ride to see hippo families, and a walking safari on Crescent Island.

Arrival

A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost. Accommodation before the tour starts can also be arranged for an additional cost.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi at 6:00 AM and drive through the Great Rift Valley Escarpment towards the Masai Mara. Weather permitting, we'll stop briefly for photos. Upon arrival at your hotel, check-in and carry your picnic lunch as we head into the Masai Mara Game Reserve for a half-day of game viewing. Search for the Big Five and, time permitting, visit the Mara River to see migration routes, hippo families, and crocodiles.

Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying a bonfire under the stars if the weather allows.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Village Tour, and Lake Naivasha

At 6:00 AM, head out for a 3-hour game viewing drive, searching for animals not previously spotted. Afterward, return to camp for breakfast and check out. Transfer to a local Maasai Village for a cultural experience where you can interact with families and learn about their way of life. Bid farewell to the Masai Mara and drive to Lake Naivasha.

Upon arrival, enjoy a buffet lunch. Experience a boat ride followed by a walking safari on the famous Out of Africa - Crescent Island, where you can have amazing moments with giraffes, antelopes, and other animals while enjoying the scenery. Head back to the mainland and drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, drop-off at your city hotel, residence, or airport.
